Did you know that our bodies are deeply connected to the seasons? This concept is one of the key principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). For centuries, Eastern cultures have aligned their lives with seasonal changes and astrological cycles. Research suggests that autumn, for example, is associated with emotions like grief and the process of letting go. It is also linked to the lung and large intestine meridians. On March 1st, I led a session designed to help regulate the body, mind, and emotions in harmony with these seasonal shifts.
We moved through various positions, allowing the flow of Chi energy to move freely through the body, releasing any blockages or tension held within the subtle body.
Calming the mind and supporting nervous system regulation, we allowed the body to transition smoothly through the seasonal changes in the coming weeks and months.
