When I’m on my PMS or menstrual cycle, I experience low energy and fatigue. Over the years, I’ve learned how to care for myself during these phases:
1️⃣ Listening to my body and taking it easy.
Years ago, when I felt tired and drained, I would push myself harder, rely on extra caffeine, and keep going until I burned out. Now, I honor my body’s signals—it’s my intuition guiding me. Ignoring my body means ignoring my inner wisdom, so I choose rest and gentleness instead.
2️⃣ Nourishing my body and soul.
This goes beyond healthy food and nutrients, although they are important. I also focus on feeding my soul with uplifting music, inspiring books, and content that resonates with me. I surround myself with relationships that make me feel aligned with the frequency of love and positivity.
3️⃣ Moving my body with self-compassion.
I embrace gentle movement, often practicing yin yoga during this time. It allows me to connect deeply with my feminine energy, giving my body space to rest, release, and heal naturally. Yin yoga has become my most powerful medicine during these days.

Let me be humbly sincere with you..
Being a yoga teacher isn’t always easy, neither is it about being relaxed all the time.
I am not happy and positive every moment. But what yoga has taught me is how to navigate my emotions and reignite trust—trust in myself, in the process of life, and in something beyond what’s happening inside or around me.
As a yoga teacher, I’m not always flexible, and I don’t perform every pose perfectly. However, I commit to showing up each day, striving to grow at least 1% better.
Yes, I experience anxiety and stress. But I’ve learned to allow myself to feel the full range of emotions, embracing them as they are. I understand that, just as they come, they also go.
I love spending quiet moments immersed in sacred wisdom, but I also adore the joy of somatic flow movement😍. For those who know me well, dancing is one of my favorite ways to connect with my body and spirit.
I deeply value moments of vulnerability over empty conversations—especially when I can connect on a soul level, free from the need to pretend.
What would you demystify about the yogi path? 🪷✨

𖥸 Let me introduce myself 𖥸
Hi there!
I`m Monica Arcoya, originally from Spain, but for the last 11 years, I’ve called the world 🌏 my home (time truly flies, doesn’t it?).
At just 22, I packed my suitcase and moved to the UK with one goal: to learn English. But what I discovered was so much more than a language. I unlocked a world of opportunities, experiences, and self-discovery. Over the next four years, I travelled to more than 20 countries across three continents. With each new destination, I not only explored the world but also uncovered different facets of myself.
I found parts of me that were adventurous, creative, and fun—but also parts that were anxious, overwhelmed, and scared of facing challenges alone in unfamiliar places. By my fifth year as a global traveller 🗺, anxiety knocked on my door, and it hit hard. That’s when yoga entered my life.
I started with YouTube videos—quick sessions to cope with the burnout from long work hours. Each session left me feeling lighter, clearer, and somehow like a new version of myself. Yoga became my sanctuary.
Through yoga, I learnt to embrace my natural rhythms as a woman, to truly listen to my body, and to honour what it needed—whether that was rest, nourishment, or simply time to breathe.
Yoga connected me to my inner wisdom, helping me remember my authentic self and the purpose I came to fulfil in this lifetime. It also reignited my passion for astrology, revealing talents and gifts I didn’t realise I had.
What began as a simple physical practice transformed into a profound journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. Every time I step onto my mat, I uncover something new—about myself and the infinite world within.
And you? What transformations have you experienced in your #yoga journey?

Rise, sister, rise ॐ
These words have echoed in my heart and soul during my most challenging times.
Life, in its honesty, tests us in countless ways. It is humbling to embrace our humanity, to accept what we can control and surrender to what we cannot.
Some time ago, I wrote this in one of my journals:
"Sometimes being positive simply means to keep moving—to take one step at a time, knowing that if things aren’t well, it’s because it isn’t the end yet."
How can we describe that deep, intuitive sense of trust that drives us forward through the darkness, guiding us to the light we are destined to discover along this life?
Perhaps the end won’t be perfect or complete. Yet, it will undoubtedly mark the beginning of what is meant to shape us—into stronger, truer versions of ourselves in this lifetime.
Rise, sister, rise ॐ
